Abstract

The need of continuous quality improvement in health care requires an elaboration of a system for quality measurement. The present system for quality evaluation refers to quality of activities of general practitioners and specialists, health care providers, contracting with NHIF. The system includes several evaluation criteria related to prophylaxis, immunization, dispanserisation, diagnostic and treatment results and patient satisfaction. Some methodological clarification on the documentary method used is presented. The steps for implementation of a set of indicators in quality evaluation process and the relevant tools are included in the paper as well.
