AbstractOccupational Medicine Services are a major part of the national system of healthcare and public health. Currently the big challenge is the introduction of procedure for quality assessment of the occupational health by the Occupational Medicine Services. Occupational Medicine should concentrate on three targets: 1. Maintaining the health and productivity of workers. 2. Improvement of the work place, so that it is healthy and safe. 3. Development of labour organization and order leading to health and safety at work, providing a positive social climate and increasing labour productivity.
