AbstractThe development of the molecular biology and the genetic engineering created conditions for making the cloning possible. That provoked a wide interest. A lot of ethical problems about human cloning arose. From biological point of view, the main objections are related to the fact that cloning does not create a new organism but merely reproduces a genotype that have already existed. The scientists are afraid of a repetition of a human being that have been already born before. They apprehend that the society may expect the newly created personality to be like his/her predecessor. The fears of the scientists come out their wonder how the people would accept these non-sexually born children. They think that the parent-child connection might be destroyed. As a result, the reproductive cloning was forbidden. The research take place only in the field of therapeutic cloning. Address for correspondence: e-mail: [email protected]
