Abstract

The development of the American pharmacy is influenced by the Indian culture and by the development of the European pharmacy during the different historical periods. That is the reason for its liberal character from legislative point of view, but because of the many mistakes and changes in its development it slowly riches a high degree of professionalism (it is ruled by federal and state laws). This is an attempt to follow up the historical development of the American pharmacy and the basic legislation acts on federal and state level.
