Abstract
In this article are mentioned some important and new elements in the management of the educational institution "Medical college" as a result from the long-term co-operation between the two colleges - in the town of Den Helder, Holland and in Vratsa, Bulgaria. The experience from the realization of the project "Care for mentally handicapped people and education in Bulgaria" is shared. Innovative approach by developing, implementing and managing this project is marked. Novelties by syllabi, curricula and textbooks development are shown.
