Abstract
The author analyses the main aspects of status and perspectives for future development of economic approaches and methods in management and financing of Bulgarian Public Health System. The report is presented in two parts:
- Part I. Historical aspects of the application of economical way of thinking in the Bulgarian Public Health System. Main points and results.
- Part II. Status, problems and perspectives for further introduction of economical way of thinking in the management of the Bulgarian Public Health System.
The ideas and postulates of this paper have been presented as main report at the working meeting of the National association of Health Policy and Management, which was held on 17-18 June 2005 in Velingrad, Bulgaria. .
