Abstract
The problem about the effect of the ionizing radiation upon the immune system continues to be current nowadays. In the current survey the results of the investigations from the last years, in which the effect of the action of the radiation upon the lymphocytes - the most sensible part of the immune system was studied, are reviewed. Great attention is paid to the active character of action of the ionizing radiation apart of its final effect-from death to stimulation of cell function.
