AbstractThere has been an anthropological impact on nature during the whole history of humanity. The rate at which nature is being destroyed and natural resources exploited increase continuously because of the possibilities given by the technical progress and the development of science as a whole (an anthropogenious factor for change of the climate is already being mentioned). The humanity becomes aware mere and more clearly that preserving and strengthening the human health depends not only on the social – economical and behavioral factors, but on the quality of the environment people live in and will continue to live for generations. The possibility to master and control the natural and social phenomena becomes bigger with the in depth knowledge of the essence of these phenomena and their continuity. As a reply of the increasing concern for the impact of the pollution of the environment on health, the introducing of expanded study programmes in all the levels of the educational system will provide creation of specialists in the area health – environment, capable of its control and optimization.
