Abstract

The paper focuses on the necessity of further training for nurses, which will make them active participants in Primary Health Care Service and proper members of health teams lead by the General Practitioner (GP), physician specialist and stomatologist. Opinions on preferable forms and terms of training are analyzed. Main aspects of further education, concerning urgency, team work, computer technologies, health promotion, etc. were proposed on the base of personal research data. The conditions under which nurses could be enrolled into various programs of specialization and continuous training improving their professional preparation for Primary Health Care Service are discussed in theoretical aspect.
