Abstract

The strategic marketing planning is one of the main factors for successful marketplace functioning of the occupational health services. The positioning of this medical favor imposes differential approach. The key elements from marketing point of view are the collective consumer of the service and the employer. This is a market of services supplied to economic subjects and possessing definite characteristics as: limited number of purchasers, geographic orientation, low price elasticity and professional partners. The main stages of the process of strategic marketing planning (analysis, aim formulation, choice of business area etc.) that should be accomplished by the needs of the occupational health services or with help from experts, are indicated.
