AbstractPartnerships for health development constitute an important element of every up to date national health policy. Partnership in health is defined as voluntary intersectional collaboration of different institutions and organizations (state, community, voluntary and private) which unite their potential and resources within the frame of shared interests, aimed at improvement of public and personal health. The article presented outlines the technological process for the realization of partnerships in public health. It analyses the principles, the factors of success, as well as the characteristics of the different types of partners. Address for correspondence: Dr. K.
