Abstract

Nowadays, when the man is the center of scientific researches, subject and object of public practices, the commonly accepted position in democratic societies is: The hospital chaplain is a real part of the hospitals structures. The hospital chaplain attends the patients, their friends and relations especially in critical situations, like physicians and another personnel in a hospital. The pastoral care in hospitals is legally regulated. A rich world attempt in the partnership between therapeutically team and hospital chaplain is available. In these relations, Bulgarian traditions are destroyed. There is a need of their reconstruction according to the contemporary social statute. The results of this research are indicative of the problem's importance in Bulgarian hospitals and society.
