Abstract

The article overviews the role of public relations within the system of health services in Bulgaria, whereby reference is made to a well-known form of public relations work in European countries under conditions of ongoing reform – i.e. restructuring, use of innovations, need for setting up public relations departments at health care institutions. The problem of qualification of staffs at work in such departments is underscored. Possibilities for public relations specialists are set out as well.
